99 Field Radio ("the app") is an internal communication and job-tracking tool for 99 Glide's field technicians and dispatch staff. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it's used.
Account information. When you log in, we collect your name, email address, and role (technician/advisor/admin) to identify you within the app.
Voice recordings. When you use the push-to-talk feature, the app records audio and uploads it to our servers so it can be shared with your team and transcribed into text.
Transcripts and job data. Voice recordings are transcribed into text using a third-party AI service (OpenAI's Whisper API). The transcribed text, along with any customer, vehicle, and job information mentioned in conversations, is stored and used to generate work summaries and job records.
Device information. Basic technical information (device type, app version) may be collected for troubleshooting and to support features like notifications.
Audio recordings are sent to OpenAI (openai.com) for transcription. OpenAI processes this audio to convert it to text; see OpenAI's own privacy policy for how they handle data sent to their API.
Data is transmitted to our servers over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored on our backend infrastructure. Access is limited to 99 Glide staff and systems that operate the app.
Voice recordings, transcripts, and account information are retained as part of your employer's business records. To request deletion of your account data, contact [email protected].
This app is an internal business tool intended for use by 99 Glide employees and is not directed at or intended for use by children.
